What's a good serving size?

6 US fluid ounces (about 177 mL) seems to be a pretty good drink. It leaves room for plenty of ice in a standard pint glass. Don't forget to salt that rim.

That seems kinda strong...

You ain't wrong. The recipe using tequila at roughly 40% ABV, and triple sec at 30% makes for around a 25% ABV drink. In a 6 ounce serving that is about 44 grams of alcohol. Or about the equivalent of 3 drinks.
